Martin Makes Presentation at ALA:
Heath Martin, UK Libraries’ Director of Collections, gave a
presentation entitled “How to Win Friends and Relocate Materials: The Seven
Habits of Highly Effective Collection Moves” at the American Library
Association (ALA) 2012 Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA.
The presentation was delivered at the Collection Evaluation and
Assessment Interest Group meeting of the Collection Management Section (CMS) of
the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS), a division
of the ALA. Heath was also appointed to the ALCTS CMS Publications
Committee for the 2012-2014 term.
