A student uses the die cut machine. |
Following the national trend of libraries as “maker
spaces,” the Education Library has new services available to all University of
Kentucky students, faculty, and staff. They now offer new die cut machine templates and a variety of papers, cardstock, and butcher
paper. The papers may be used with the die cut machine or in other projects. A
laminator and button maker, plus necessary supplies, are also available.
Use of the machines and supplies
is free of charge to members of the university community. While the services
are particularly useful for future educators, the Education Library in Dickey
Hall is open to all UK students, faculty, and staff.
