Deirdre Scaggs, associate dean for the Special Collections Research Center, has taken on the additional assignment as executive
secretary for the UK Libraries National Advisory Board. The National Advisory
Board serves as an external advisory body to the Dean of Libraries.
Members of the board have attained prominence in their respective careers and are chosen for their value in providing sound counsel to the Dean. Membership includes both alumni and friends of the University of Kentucky, who have an active interest in UK Libraries.
Deirdre also serves as co-director of the UK Libraries Wendell H. Ford Public Policy Research Center
