Scaggs, Associate Dean for the Special Collections Research Center and Dean Terry Birdwhistell attended a
celebration of Senator Wendell H. Ford’s 90th birthday last Monday
in Owensboro. Held at the Wendell
H. Ford Government Education Center, the event also featured the opening of
a new exhibit, Cracking the Whip, highlighting Senator Ford’s service as
Majority Whip in the United States Senate. Clay Ford, Senator Ford's grandson, is a member of the UK Libraries National Advisory Board.
