Sarah Dorpinghaus, Special Collections Research
Center digital archivist, recently earned a Digital Archives Specialist
Certificate through the Society of American Archivists Digital Archives
Specialist (DAS) Curriculum Program. The DAS Curriculum,
developed by experts in the field of digital archives, is structured in tiers
of study that allow participants to choose courses based on specific knowledge,
training, and needs. Sarah’s expertise in this area will allow UK Libraries to
better address the complex issues revolving around born-digital collection
material and future acquisitions.
