Dr. Doug
Boyd, director of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the Special
Collections Research Center, recently led a two day symposium on Oral History,
Archives, and Innovation. The symposium. sponsored by the Midwest Archives Conference, was held at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, September 12 – 13.
Dr. Boyd engaged archivists in exploration and discussion of best practices for curating and disseminating digital oral histories. Fifty-five oral history professionals attended the symposium.
