Sarah Dorpinghaus, Digital Archivist, presented at the Ohio Valley Group
of Technical Services Librarians last week as part of a panel entitled
“Streamlining Workflows: Transforming 20th Century Metadata Processes for 21st
Century Access”. She discussed her experiences migrating digital objects to the
revamped Kentucky Digital Library and ExploreUK, specifically the importance of
utilizing programmer assistance in automating imaging workflows.
