Libraries has published an online dissertation planner to help doctoral students chart the steps to complete their
dissertation. It is particularly beneficial to students who are just
beginning to lay the groundwork for their dissertations.
Divided into six sections, the
planner provides suggestions for issues including how to identify a workable
research topic, what to consider when establishing a dissertation committee,
and how to plan for the writing process. It also includes lists of resources
for a variety of topics, ranging from library research to scholarly
publishing.
The dissertation planner is
adapted from the University of Minnesota Libraries’ Dissertation Calculator.
Feel free to send comments or suggestions for the planner to UK Libraries.
