As part of the ongoing Women’s Studio Workshop book arts exhibit, the
Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library hosted UK alumni and book artist Susan
E. King for a lecture in the Niles Gallery last month. “What Kentucky
Taught Me: a Native Daughter’s Book Odyssey” explored how Susan’s Kentucky
upbringing informed her art as her career took her from the Bluegrass to New
Mexico, California, New York and finally back home to the commonwealth.
“Hand, Voice and Vision: Artists’ Books from Women’s Studio Workshop”
will remain on display through March 16.
