Reflections and Observations

Provost Christine Riordan recently announced dates and times for her “Open Office Hours.”

Each month, Provost Riordan reserves two hours to meet with UK students, faculty, and staff at her office in 105 Main Building.  These one-on-one meetings are intended as a way for community members to discuss their thoughts on what is happening at UK, to talk about their experiences, and to share their ideas for continuing to build on UK's momentum.
The Provost's Open Office Hours are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 3-5 p.m. 20-minute appointments can be scheduled via email or by calling (859) 257-2911.  Upcoming dates include:
February 12, 2014
March 12, 2014
April 9, 2014
May 14, 2014
June 11, 2014

Provost Riordan’s announcement prompts me to remind all UK Libraries employees that since becoming Dean I have maintained an “open door policy.”  I welcome your input on all things related to UK Libraries.  You are welcome to stop by my office at your convenience or schedule an appointment for a visit.  I appreciate your ideas and suggestions regarding how we can improve UK Libraries and our service to the university and the commonwealth.

William T. Young Endowed Chair
