University of Kentucky Libraries has acquired two
new collections of scholarly journals for the JSTOR platform. The Arts
and Sciences IX collection includes 262 academic journal titles from more than
25 countries, with an emphasis on business, economics, and political science
and additional content in archaeology, anthropology, and sociology.
UK Libraries also provides access to JSTOR Arts
and Sciences collections I-VIII. The second newly acquired collection,
Business IV, currently includes 36 academic journal titles in the areas of
economics, finance, management, industrial relations, and international
business. Business IV builds on the three previous dedicated JSTOR
business collections, which are also held by UK Libraries. Access to JSTOR
for UK faculty, staff, and students is available at http://libraries.uky.edu/record.php?lir_id=266.
JSTOR is a
not-for-profit shared digital library created in 1995 to digitize, preserve,
and expand access to scholarly content. The organization has digitized
over 50 million pages since its founding and offers content from more than
2,000 academic journals.
