Open House for Special Collections Research Center on first day of UK classes

On Wednesday, August 27, students took a break from the first day of classes to enjoy an open house at the Special Collections Research Center in Margaret I. King Library. The open house included an exhibit of “then and now” photos of locations in Lexington, as well as ice cream and popsicles. More on the exhibit is available online.
Visitors viewed "UK Stomping Grounds: Lexington Then and Now."

Ice cream provided a welcome break on the first day of classes.
