The annual UK Libraries Retreat took place
August 1 at the Hilary J. Boone Center. Attended by 127 faculty
and staff, the retreat featured recognition of new employees, tenure and
promotion announcements, and updates on finances and facilities.
A series of “Lightning
Rounds” presented by faculty and staff highlighted various projects and
initiatives underway. Lunchtime presentations by
Dr. Deanna Sellnow of
Presentation U,
Kirk Laird of the Media Depot, and
Judith Prats of the Robert E. Hemenway
Writing Center put the spotlight on
