Reflections and Observations

This has been a long and cold winter for Kentucky. I want to offer personal thanks to everyone who kept UK Libraries functioning on our snow day Monday, March 3. Daniel Naas worked 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. by himself, to keep Little Fine Arts Library open. At the Medical Center Library, Frank Davis and Tim Baker made it possible for a group of upper-level medical students to complete a required class. Teri Brown, Laura Hall, and Young Library Director Shawn Livingston were joined by students Blake Britton, Zak Duty, Samantha Victor, Taylor Sekanovich and Aaron Barr, as well as graduate assistant Angela Pulley to keep Young Library and essential library services available to campus, even in the face of adverse weather. You are appreciated.
